Golden Milk…aka Turmeric Tea

Golden milk is a traditional Indian drink that has been adopted in the west for its immune boosting and healing properties. Here is the way I make mine...

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 Cup Coconut, Almond, or Regular Milk

  • 1/2-1 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric

  • 1/2-1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/2-1 Teaspoon Maple Syrup or Honey

  • Pinch black pepper & pinch Cayenne pepper

  • Fresh grated ginger to taste

Blend or whisk all ingredients and then heat until simmering. Simmer 1-2 minutes. Enjoy! Yum!
